Planning Commission
Jackson County is accepting applications for a position on the County Planning Commission. To obtain a balanced representation of all property owners, applications are encouraged from the South Half of the County, however all applications will be considered. Planning Commissioners are volunteer citizens, dedicated to developing a shared vision for sustainable development in Jackson County. Any Jackson County resident may contact the Jackson County Planning and Land Office, Room 202, in the courthouse or call (785)364-2358. Accepting applications until positions are filled.
