Camping Regulations
5.10 Reservations & Permits
Camping shall be allowed only in designated areas and subject to provisions and restrictions as established by posted notice. Camping spaces, pads, utilities, and locations are available on a first-come/first-serve basis. No advance reservations will be made for camping spaces, pads, utilities, or locations. It shall be unlawful to reserve or occupy a location for the purpose of camping by use of a vehicle not so designed or modified to serve as a camping unit or by any other means.
Permits may be issued only to persons using tents, sleeping vans, sleeping buses, travel trailers, recreational vehicles, or other manufactured or converted camping units. Questions of any camping unit's status shall be determined by said unit's home state registration or license if any exists. All camping units must be clean, fit for human habitation, and in good repair.
No person shall establish a permanent residence or any mailing address at the Reservoir. Anyone on lake property after 10:30 pm must have a camping permit.
Valid camping permits must be properly displayed on camping units at the Reservoir. Permits are to be placed on the lower right windshield of recreational vehicles (passenger side) or on the right front of the camping units so as to be visible from the road. Stickers for tent campers shall be displayed in front of the tent at the entrance or on the tent pole.
All campers occupying a campsite with electrical hook-up, water, or sewage, shall pay the service fee, regardless of whether such service is used.
5.20 Quiet Hours
It shall be unlawful for any person to disturb the public peace within the Reservoir campgrounds at any time between the hours of 10:30 pm and 5:30 am.
5.30 Terms of Camping
No person shall occupy a camping site for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days. Any person camping within the Reservoir Area must remove themselves and all property on or before the evening of the fourteenth consecutive day of camping.
A person occupying a camping pad with a camper vehicle may erect one tent at the site, for children, upon paying such fee as set forth in Section 2 above.
5.40 Permanent Camping Structures Prohibited
No person shall erect on the Reservoir Area any permanent structure. All structures must be on wheels and capable of immediate removal from the campsite. A tent comprised of poles, stakes, and canvas, nylon, or other cloth-like material shall not be considered a permanent structure.
It shall be unlawful for any person to construct or assemble any porch, deck, or other similar apparatus which is not part of the original design of the camping unit unless such person has the written authorization of the Reservoir Supervisor or designated representative.
5.50 Utility Hook-up
Utility hookups for water, sewage, or electricity may be made under the authorization and direction of the Reservoir Supervisor or designated representative. No more than one camping unit shall use each utility hook-up.
5.60 Camping Areas
- Camping Area "A" is designated for RV's with hookups. One tent may be allowed for children with the owner of the RV.
- Camping Area "B" is designated for tents or RV's with no hook-ups.
- Camping Area "C" is a designated area by Reservoir Supervisor.
5.70 Parking of Vehicles and Camping Units:
All camping units must park or be set up in spaces or sites as directed by the Reservoir Supervisor or designated representative.
5.80 Water
Gray or White water will at no time be dumped anywhere in the Reservoir Area, except at the sewer dump station.
